Sanitizing & Deodorizing

What’s Included

Add sanitizing to your duct cleaning

for a more complete odor-control result.

Mechanical source-removal cleaning comes first. If odors persist or there is a specific microbial concern, we can apply a targeted sanitizing or deodorizing treatment as an add-on after proper duct cleaning.

Our Process

  • Confirm the system was recently cleaned using source-removal methods
  • Identify odor sources and any materials that may need replacement
  • Apply the selected treatment according to label directions and dwell time
  • Ventilate the system and verify odor reduction
  • Document the products used and provide care recommendations

Equipment We Use

  • ULV/atomizing applicator
  • Appropriate PPE and containment kit
  • Moisture meter/inspection tools (as needed)

How Often?

Sanitizing is optional and performed as needed, usually after full duct cleaning, after a water event, or when persistent HVAC-related odors remain.

No. It is an optional add-on used after mechanical cleaning and source control.

We follow label directions for EPA-registered products, manage ventilation carefully, and provide re-entry guidance when needed.

It can significantly reduce HVAC-related odors, but non-HVAC odor sources may also need separate treatment or replacement.
