Sanitizing & Deodorizing

What’s Included

Ask us about

combining sanitizing with your duct cleaning for a complete result.

Mechanical source‑removal cleaning comes first. If odors persist or there’s a specific microbial concern, we can apply a targeted sanitizing or deodorizing treatment as an add‑on.

Our Process

1) Confirm the system was recently cleaned (source removal)

2) Identify odor sources and materials that may need replacement (e.g., wet insulation)

3) Apply the treatment per label directions and allow dwell time

4) Ventilate and verify odor reduction

5) Document products used and provide care tips

Equipment We Use

  • ULV/atomizing applicator
  • Appropriate PPE and containment kit
  • Moisture meter/inspection tools (as needed)

How Often?

Sanitizing is optional and performed as needed—typically after a full duct cleaning or water event, or when persistent odors are present.

No. It’s an optional add‑on after mechanical cleaning and source control.

We follow label directions for EPA‑registered products, control ventilation, and advise re‑entry timing.

It can significantly reduce HVAC‑related odors, but non‑HVAC sources (e.g., wet carpet, smoke‑saturated materials) may also need treatment or replacement.
